Job Searching
Looking for a new job or a better job can seem overwhelming. Where do you start?
At the Sutter County One-Stop, you can come in, register with our agency
and get on the computer. We have several Internet Employment
Classifieds sites
bookmarked for your convenience. If you need assistance, we want you to know
that we pride ourselves in having a reputation for the highest quality of service
in Sutter County. If you have been looking for a job for quite some time and
you’re not getting any further than the interview process, we can help with that
too. You can sit down with one of our staff as they assist you in developing
an Employment Plan. This plan will start with your career goal in mind. Together,
you will design the map necessary to reach that goal. For more Job Search
information please refer to our Job Search
Process Page.

Sutter County One Stop Adult Team |
The Sutter County One-Stop is proud of their different computer assisted
programs made available to our customers. Given the fact that the average person
will change careers 7 to 14 times during their lifetime, it’s important to know
Labor Market Trends and Demands. At the Sutter County One-Stop, you can quickly
gather information on occupations that are in high demand in the local and regional
area. If using a computer to gather information is not your first choice, you
can attend staffed workshops focused on Labor Market Information.
See our Calendar of Events on the Web for Workshop schedule.
Training on the Job
Sometimes our customers find that their occupation of choice requires they either seek formal or On the Job training to become entry level ready.
Our staff members are prepared and trained to assist in this area. Please contact us for a menu of service options.
Resumes
A Resume is considered to be a formal introduction to a potential employer. We want your Resume to capture the employer’s attention and desire he or she to meet and interview you. To create or update your Resume, please come into Job Central (Room C-6) at the One Stop. The “On-Call Counselor” will provide assistance with your resume needs.
