 “My name is Barbara Sluder and I attended Sutter County One Stop from February 2009 until June 2009. I enrolled in the ROP Business classes, Office Technology and Microsoft Office Computer Applications. I went into this training to improve my Word and Excel skills. The wake-up call came for me when I started the workbooks and I realized I was learning things I never knew existed. The encouragement I received from my instructor Linda Bozza led me to the additional subjects, PowerPoint, Publisher and Access. The experience has given me a ton of confidence and the skills that I know use with my current employer
I qualified for the WIA program and Bobby Chima was my counselor, Bobby really went out of her way to encourage and assistance me. The instructors and counselors at Sutter County One Stop are at the top of their game. They actually care and take a real interest in making sure that students have everything they need to succeed.”
